I've got lots of updates this month, so bear with me.
This weekend I had to bid a reluctant goodbye to Albina Press as I took my stuff down from last month's show. Despite the unpredictable snowstorms hitting Portland this winter, attendance for the show was great and I'm really happy to see how many folks turned up over the month. I want to thank everyone who came out to support myself and the café and to those who purchased prints. I consider the show to be a massive success regardless of the difficulty of physically getting to the space this last month. You've made this bleak winter a little brighter!
This week I'll be heading in to Pro Photo Supply in NW Portland to hang a handful of pieces for their in-store gallery for the month of February. Pro Photo is easily one of my favorite places to order prints and I'm extremely excited to be able to showcase my work in their venue. There's going to be some great stuff hanging in there from a lot of local photographers, more info when I have it!
I've also been accepted to 3 international, juried exhibitions this month. The first is for Of Memory, Bone & Myth at The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. The second is for the Midwest Center for Photography in Kansas for their annual group show. The third is for our local PDX gallery Black Box for their Black and White competition (all of their entries are online, click the link to check it out!).
I'm going to be updating the EVENTS section of this site to simplify where my work will be, at this point I'm losing track as well. Also, feel free to take a look at the PRINTS section for special post-show sales and one-of-a-kind handmade items. Thanks again to all my friends for continued support and encouragement, this has been a great start to the year (artistically speaking).
